My camera doesn't seem to consistently rotate the image when turned. Its not stable as it flickers from either position. I can get it if I try hard but... I'm not to worried as I don't use the camera that much but if anybody knows of anything I can do, please. Also, I just wanted to make sure its not a precusor to anything else. Otherwise I have an absolutely mint and perfect UX with no problems and I'd like to keep it that way. Thanks guys.

I have noticed that the ribbon cable connecting the camera to the motherboard of my UX is clearly visible through one of the holes at the rear underside (the holes used to clamp the UX to the charging cradle or EB40). Said cable also shows signs of minor wear on my unit. You could check for obvious signs of damage to the cable?

There is a micro switch PCB at the camera housing that detects the camera rotation and thus signals the motherboard to rotate the image. This switch is located next to the camera flexible flat cable (brown FFC). This PCB has 2 wires soldered with connections to the mainboard. You may want to check if the wires are broken. The broken wires will cause the intermittent rotation of images.
