Updating registerred apps??

I have a registered version of PocketLink but there is an update to it from the version I have registed. Do I have to delete the old file before installing it? I tried to install it normally but got a fatal hard reset... any ideas? What about other softs? There is little info about upgrading...

I have mine stored in the Palm Launcher folder. Any new updates I just copy over the old. I have no idea what caused your hard reset though.

Here again there are no hard and fast rules. When all else fails, read the instructions. Each developer has their own way of doing things :)!

I usually just install the new version over the old one unless the instruction says otherwise. Never had a problem.
