Any body have any experience with this program - I have been a user of HanDBase for a few years now but I am settign up a Windows based database and need a program that is more robust than the HanDBase desktop program. Anybody with any advise as to whether the combination of FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Mobile are a nice combo?
Thanks

If you are using relational databases on your desktop, you will be disappointed with the mobile version-only sync to flat databases. Also, you can't sync with multiuser databases. I haven't reviewed what's available recently as alternative, but I think there are plenty to look at. Have you looked at SmartListToGo? I think it syncs with Access.

If you're expectations are low and your needs simple, then yes, it's a decent enough app for displaying records from flat file databases and being able to do searches. I use it regularly, for limited purposes and it serves my needs. But I don't think it compares at all to built-for-PalmOS databases like Jfile and such. They're more robust--but they dont' sync up to Filemaker Pro on the desktop.
