It ain't no caliber of dimitry putting a VR into a T|X, but it's still a cheap, easily done solution for those T|T3 owners who are annoyed at having the slider slide closed when holding it upright. Just grab a rubber band and wrap it around like shown:

I set it like this so that the buttons or the entire screen aren't covered up at all, but the home button or the other corner button (if you switch angles) on the status bar is pretty unblocked. And yeah, that is a -6 score for being only quarter way through the Classic levels of Vexed (now in hi-res with with dozens and dozens of new puzzle packs available)

I know some people's T|T3 sliders are tight to stand up on their own, but believe me, this displayed T3 slider is always going down on me.

My PTG sled does fit over this, but I think I'll end up taking off the rubberband to avoid any chance of the PTG sled hooks from getting damaged. One last thing I gotta say, with an opened T3 slider in my pocket, it really feels like I'm carrying around a brick in there.

Ok, here is my remedy for slider...
You will need:
1)a screwdriver (to open your T3)

2)an electrical insulation tape
http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e89/picazsoo/tape.jpg
3)and finally... scissors

Ok, heve we go.
Open your tungsten with help of this take-apart guide (http://www.gethightech.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=GHT&Category_Code=_tungsten_takeapart) and the screwdriver.

Cut small pieces of electrical tape shaped like the highlited places (there is already some sort of tape glued on) on the following pictures. Then simply put them in place. It will increase the thickness of slider and also increase friction.

You can put more layers of tape if needed.

If you want to improve the slider thing even more, try bending highlited pieces of metal.

Then put your T3 back together and enjoy a pleasure of your firm slider :) .
Dunno, if it will work for you, but did for me. ;)

PLEASE POST HERE IF THIS GUIDE HELPED YOU!

haven't had the guts to try that. I'm borderline "if ain't broke, don't fix it" adage. Maybe one day though.
