Win Xp in a Mac

I like it, although I'd prefer virtualisation. Looking forward to Leopard - hopefully that will allow concurrent running of Win XP & Mac OS. *THAT* would be cool.

I don't like Windows much, but occasionally there are some things that just *have* to be done in Windows. I don't want to have to reboot each time in order to do that... Virtual PC, as crap as it is, at least allows me to use those few Windows-only apps that I still occasionally need, while still using my Mac apps that I've come to love. so virtualisation is more important to me than dual-boot.

But dual-boot is better, & cheaper, than separate machines... :)

I've installed XP on my dual core iMac, and it runs faster than I've ever seen Windows run. I'll only use it for games though, I don't see any other reason to ever have to use Windows.

Why do you need to sync a UX50 on XP when you can do it quite perfectly with The Missing Sync on OS X? ;)

XP runs completely natively on the Core Duo, just like it would on a Dell. It actually runs great for gaming and what-not. As far as hardware support and synching, you'd just need the same software and drivers as on any other computer. It's just like having a regular PC just in a different box.

Missing Synch is fantastic, but think Pendragon forms, Think DB, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. related to the hundreds of kewl stuf that only synchs with the Pee Cee.
