HHHEEELLLPPP with fish tycoon

I really like this game, its addicting and fun.
But at the same time its irritating and frustrating.
Can anyone tell me how to get started.
I have tried so may approaches to get my tank to be successful and NOTHING has worked. I am trying to save up 500 to research fish environment. I have been patient and waited, watched, fed, taken care of, tried to breed, tried not to breed, tried to buy eggs, tried to buy lots of eggs, tried to buy little bit of eggs. It doesn’t matter, it all ends up the same way. The first round of adult fish give birth then end up dying (weather or not I have the better food) then the baby fish (weather from eggs or not) end up dying.
I am ready to delete this game from my computer. Can someone help me? What am I doing wrong? I have restarted this game 5 times and tried a different approach each time and NOTHING has worked.
other then setting my clock ahead to speed up breeding is there any other way to make money?
because the health of my fish just declines, and if i speed up my clock they will just dy faster, and the fish are not sick physically so i dont know how to stop them from dying.
What is up with this GAME!!?!?
i have played MANY other tycoon games and none have been this hard to figure out.

Just wanted to let you know that if you breed the Orange Fire Arrow + Wasp fire arrow
you'll also get the (Canary Fire arrow) the golden guppy of Isola. I didn't see this combo on the posts I read so just wanted to let you guys know. Good luck and have fun tycooning
