The system clock of my T3 keeps jumping (changing). I have tried a hard reset but did not solve the problem.

Can anybody have a solution? Is my T3 infected with a virus?

Thank a lot
Tung

Damaged ROM perhaps? Try to do a hard reset again then let the battery drain to nothing, then charge it all the way up and see what happens.

failing that, I use Timecopy that syncs the time on the pc to the time on the palm.

Does it work?

If I drain the battery up and then recharge it full but still does not work, then, is it possible if I re-write the ROM of T3?

Thanks

I have tried a hard reset but did not solve the problem.A hard-reset or a hard-reset and restore? If the problem still occurred after a hard-reset w/o restore then this is some sort of hardware problem. If the problem reoccurred after a hard-reset with restore, then it could still be some software on your device.

Is my T3 infected with a virus? Not likely. There have only been 4 Palm OS mal-ware programs and none of them have been seen in the wild in years.

Question: Is there any sort of pattern to this time jumping? (i.e. It jump up 4 hours every day. It jumps back 2 hours every Hotsync. It looses 2 minutes every day.)
