I think not only in various colors, but you can have more creative ideas using the flip cover, e.g.


transparent cover;
memory stick holders;
mirror (for girls);
built-in Wi-Fi receiver;
audio player control (so that you do not need to turn the flip cover to skip a song);
digital (alarm) clock;
digital camera;
TV/radio tuner;
and many more...

Of course there will not be an one-for-all solution. What I want to say is that you can have many possibilities with this flip cover, and it all depends on your creativity.

I just want a blank (something to fill the indents) so that the TG50 won't look so odd with the flip cover removed.

I wanted to have a replacement also so that I wont scratch the original cover. However, if the replacement does not look cool enough I might as well stick to the original one. ;)

How 'bout a replacement that folds ALL the way around, I guess it would have an extra hinge and block the IR and MS access but it would be cool...no?
