Hi People,
I just wanted to twell you that TamsPalm currently is offline as we are beeing DDOssed after beiing slashdotted. Apperently, someone didnt like our editorial on google Pages...

So, we decided to forward the g*yl*** to FBI.com in order to make it easy to catch them.

Trust me, TamsPalm will be back online soon!

Best regards
Tam Hanna

And BTW, please publish this on your blog, tell it to your friends,... . Let no hystery arise, please!

Wait... wouldn't it be more proper to wait this out and protect your site rather than redirecting your site to FBI.com? Tam, in as much as I'm sorry for what's happening to your site, I don't agree with the redirect.

I agree with Joel. What real purpose does this serve?

Hope this helps :)

Looks like your website is okay now.

BTW: No offense intended, but you really need to get a spellchecker and grammer checker for your website. As it is, your website loses any credibility of appearing professional because of the lack of quality in the writing. Even if your content is professional, it won't look professional when misspelled words appear in almost every paragraph and when the wording appears to be generated for an audience with less than a college education.

BTW: No offense intended, but "grammar" is spelled with two "a"s.

It mainly just takes the pressure off of his site. I doubt he was really doing it to catch anyone. It is more likely that that site just came to him when he was thinking of somewhere to redirect to.

Hi,
lets work it off one by one.

In fact, it was my webhost that decided about the forwardingm not me. I wasnt even asked, only found out via the hotline after hours actually..

About the spelling issues. I fully understand you and appreciate your input. However, the problem is that we have loads of authors with different english skill levels. A spell check will be introduced soon though!

Your webhost did that?! I couldn't believe a webhost passed on the attack to the FBI. That's unprofessional and quite frankly, the webhost shouldn't be in the business.

I have no problems with spelling issues. :) As long as we are all in the same page then that's fine with me. Now, if we are in the same league as CNN or BBC, then I believe spelling and grammar will matter.

Hi,
trust me that they did! Generally, the folks are ok, but they prolly nerver ever experienced slashdot before. They are a small 5 man show....

I didnt even find out anything until a few friends told me about it...the night when TP was offline was hell on earth! Email, phone, everything was full of emails containing just the word WTF...

The dishonor of Blue Security (http://q.queso.com/archives/001917) reminds me of what happened with Tam's webhost.
