Frustrated with trying to download backgrounds

How do you download an image or a background in normal JPG or BMP status? Everytime I try to download one, I get this stupid PHP file.

What browser are you using.....I click on the little icon in the upper left corner on the image (believe its an arrow pointing to a drive) and then my browswer loads the image on a page - next I second mouse button click and choose save as.....but thats with IE and Netscape.
