Lifedrive deleted update 2.0 a week after installation

Hi

I installed update 2.0 after I got my lifedrive last week and did the checks to make sure it installed okay - looked for new reset options and checked Wifi.lib version. Today had a major problem and found the only way to resolve it was to hard reset but the options were gone.

Does anyone know why?

Has this happed to anyone else?

You could try reinstalling update 2.0. But this is unlikely because the update 2 burns a new ROM image on the chip, so even a hard reset can't override it :confused:.

Hard reset options - make sure you did not create a password on the LD. In that case the quick format option diappears.

Maybe you restored an older wifi.lib?

I would suggest deleting the password to make the Hard Reset options appear. That's what I had to do.

Thanks for the advice about passwords. I did a full reset before I read your post but I probably needed. Update 2.0 wasn't deleted it was just the password. Everything is working great, I love the lifedrive.
