What's new in version 10.07

Improvements

Corrected problem causing a navmanager error on the alarm dialog (Tungsten T, T2, T3, and TE)
Addressed device lockup situation occurring on Verizon and Sprint Treo 650s when during a call an Agendus alarm was triggered
Changed the default snooze time from 10 to 3 minutes You can get it here! (http://www.iambic.com/agenduspro/palmos/whatsnew.asp#10.07)

Looks like iambic is trying hard to solve a few Treo and Tungsten "nasties!" :)

Very impressed with the sudden frequency of these updates... Has Pruss gone to work for Iambic? ;)

I think they lost a key developer a couple of months ago. Must have hired Alex (pruss)! LOL! :D

wow.. 07 out already... I would imagine they would wait a little bit before posting updates, unless something critical was found that really needs patching.

I have a few friends who I have recommended Agendus to, and lately it seems, everytime I see them I end up updating their Agendus for them. Just this evening, I was at a dinner party where I updated them to 10.06. I guess I have another set of rounds to make. :p

Maybe they're into "agile programming". Frequent releases with fewer features.

Well based upon my inside knowledge - no it's not just around the corner. ;)

As always, v11 will come out after a period of testing in both Alpha and then public beta. And since the beta of the Windows Desktop component is currently underway then it's going to be awhile.

Steve,

I wasn't too concerned about you thinking that....it's the other masses that might not remember that post. :D

We've been having your London weather here in California - setting a record today of more rain in March (number of days - 19) then ever recorded so I'll chalk up my post to "indoor syndrome" ;)

Impressive precipitation but not any better (worse?) here! :( :)

Hi,

This, http://www.1src.com/forums/showpost.php?p=877934&postcount=1 is the post that gave me the indication that v.11 was on it's way soon.

Wow! Thanks for the news!

This is a must-app, in my opinion. With a lot of features, Agendus is one of the best apps in my Treo 650. :D

When Michael posted that v11 was due "first part of next year" - a rather vague statement as long as it makes it before the end of June.......well could be considered first part of next year?

We are bound by NDA's but I can tell you that v11 will have to come after the current beta of the desktop component. There could be other things that come before the next gen of Agendus. We have not been given any specific timeline for v11 which means it could still make "first part of next year".

I can see how you would think that it's just around the corner.....rest assured when it goes to public beta, it will be announced here by me, or Michael or Wellsjs or ? :)

I finally bought Agendus Pro and Agendus for Outlook after thinking about it for a very long time. What finally pushed me over the edge was trying Agendus for Outlook. I'm happy that it makes Outlook much more usable IMO and makes the overall experience between Palm and PC calendaring seem much more integrated.

I still wish there was a better way to prevent duplicates. For instance, I'll often maye an appointment or task on the desktop, edit it on the Palm and then get two or even more versions of the same item. If I'm missing out on some simple way to prevent this please let me know. Or is this just a limitation of Palm's sync software?

The only time I ever get duplicates, it's usually my fault, i.e. I edited a task/meeting in both places before syncing. I use Pocket Mirror and seldom have problems.

Long time ago - I realized the best way to avoid dupes - do them only in one location and that's usually on the Palm. Microsoft and Jeff Hawkins didn't start collaborating until the Treo 700W....so I think that they just boobie trapped each other for the last 9 1/2 years only kissing and making up this last 6 months or so.

Doingthem in only one location isn't an option: I need to create tasks on the pc and later prioritize them on the palm. this can cause dupes.

Does another Pocket Mirror handle theis better than the Palm conduits?

I've never had a Palm device . . . only Sonys. I believe you can try PM fully functional as a demo. Let us know if it solves your issues. ;)

PocketMirror is the only way to go. Much better than the stock conduits, and I have never had a dup unless, as uncle wells says, it's my fault.
