Resco Backup 1.35.3 is running on my TX. After a manual backup the report form is shown with a list of the databases backed up and their status. Choosing the "Export" button in the GUI should send this list to the Memo application for archiving and better reading. However, upon tapping "Export" Backup returns to the main form and then the TX freezes.
A soft reset cures it but when I go into Backup it tells me that there was a crash during the backup. This isn't true because if I don't export the list (or try to) the program behaves just fine.
Launching Memos to check the status of the memo shows that the first page of the exported report is created many times (sometimes 100s if I don't reset right away).
This functionality always works flawlessly with Resco Explorer 2.7x
Is this a problem that is unique to *my* TX, the TX or the program altogether?
Thanks...
Brian

This happens on my T3 as well, and has done for the last few versions. As I have no use for it anyway I haven't bothered to report it. Have you checked their forums?

I have reported it via e-mail and on their forums as well.
Thanks for the sanity check...

Just posted this on the Resco forum. Thought it might make them take more notice if more than one person posts.

Strange, I tried to submit a comment in their forum. I'm logged in. I type in the text in the message field. I can see it. When I hit send, I get a "you must enter text in the message" popup. Anyone know why?
I am running IE7 beta.

Not sure... it works fine for me in Safari. I have created a thread there that is similar to this and DrWho has contributed to it. Last night I also send a detailed e-mail to them.

Your problem is probably due to the fact that you are using IE7. Web scripts haven't been updated to recognise the browser, and thus don't handle it's requests well, if at all correctly...
Ditch IE7 and use another browser..

Ditch IE7 and use another browser..Unfortunantly, I cannot do without RoboForm (works with Firefox and IE) or the new Google Toolbar (beta) which only works with IE. The new intuitive search features rock! It would take more than a problem posting in one Internet forum to sway me! :)

It took one scan with an antispyware program to see that IE had invited in over 1000 pieces of unwanted crap on my machine, to divorce this software once and for all.
IE7 will be no different... And I'm not going to give it a chance to try to proove itself either... google tool bar or not... I'll do without..
Your mileage may vary. ;)

wellsjs,
Were you able to send an e-mail to their support? I have sent two, one indicating the problem and another indicating it was non-NVFS related. Maybe if they can have someone else confirm it, that would help. Let us know if you get a reply.... no replies via e-mail or the forum so far.

Your mileage may vary. ;)My milage did vary today, as I gave Firefox a good trial - several hours. It's just too slow compared with IE7.
