Good Morning All,
I will be buying a TX as soon as I get a few things around the house done. (I get distracted easily) I do have a question for all you TX experts out there.
What is your recommendation on email programs? I have heard much about VersaMail. Others such as Chatter and Snapper are available, but are they usable on the TX or are they focused on the Treo market? Are there others, and what are your recommendations?
Thanks much,
Steve

Versamail comes with the TX and works really well for me. From what I've read, if you want to spend some extra $$ snappermail is your best bet, but I've never tried it myself.

I use versamail too, i do wish though i could find one that will automatically download linked images, for my CNN and Dilbert stuff.

I use SnapperMail because I was never able to fully download my longer messages with Versamail. That said, Snapper mail is not great. It crashes with regularity, the formatting is poor, and it won't automatically filter incoming messages. Its a low res program in a hi res world. I get awfully jealous when I see my wife's Axium with its high resolution and then go back to my low res palm apps.

I use versamail. Snapper is sickk, but Versamail keeps it simple for me, and i like my stability since i dont have many 3rd party programs on the TX.
Versamail i have set up to leave the mail on the server (so i can grab it with outlook later), set to BCC a copy to me all the mails i send out so i have sent copies, and limit my message sizes to 200kb (arbitrary number) so i can get small attachments, but dont waste time if someone emails me a 3 meg picture.

VersaMail seems to work better than Snapper.
We really do need a better email program though.
