Hi,
All my efforts to copy pics from my pc (windows xp pro (sp2)), failed.
First I tried to Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0. Using the Share=>Send to Palm OS Handheld, I managed to transfer, but with much much of a cost. The program required installation of Palm Acrobat Reader and converted my jpg pics to pdf. The new format is quite heavy.
I tried to do it by left clicking=>Send to=>PalmOne Quick Install, but looks like images do not require installation, and the pics failed to reach my pda.
Where am I going wrong? How do I accomplish this elementary task?

Use the Media application in Palm Desktop.

Simplest way to transfer jpegs to the Palm is by using a card reader or an app like Card Export which turns your PDA into a card reader. Just make sure the pics go into the folder your software looks for.

All this assumes you have an SD card in your Palm.

Use the Media application in Palm Desktop.

I checked my Palm Desktop (ver. 4.1.4.0) and failed to find the Media application. Can you instruct me in more detail?

The Media/Photos application is on the left between Note Pad and Voice Memo in Palm Desktop. If it does not launch, I suggest that you reinstall the software that came on your E2 CD. Once you launch it there is a Help function which is easier to navigate than the E2 User Guide (manual) which is also on the E2 CD and available from the E2 support page at palm.com.

Don't forget to turn OFF *all* running applications when doing the install. Yep, that means antivirus and firewall.
