Has anyone found a Palm application that generates "magic packets" for wake-on-lan use.  For those who aren't familiar with it, many PC network cards can be configured to turn the machine on when they receive a "magic packet."  The actual magic packet that's sent is the given unit's MAC address repeated several times (technical details are easily available on the web if you're interested).

I often "wake" my main PC from my laptop, and would love to do the same with my Palm, but can't find an app that will do it.  There aren't a ton of PC apps that will do this either, so maybe there isn't any demand?  Too bad if that's so, because it's a useful tool.

Which application are you using for your laptop? Since this is slightly off topic from your original post, you can PM me.

Thx
