Using CLIE Launcher with LX

Can CLIE Launcher recognize the shortcuts created by LauncherX?  It seems that I can't do that.

You can just use the beta version of McFile to create shortcuts that the Clie Launcher can use.

Is McFile 2.11 not OS5 compatible?

I dont know about 2.11, im using 2.2 Beta 1. Just make a directory (such as 'apps' for aplications. Put a program in that directory and check it in McFile then goto Tool then select "Create ShortcutDB".

I've tried to create Shortcut using v.2.2b1 but it resets my handheld. Anyone has this experience?

Do the shortcuts made by mcfile have the same functionality as the ones created by LX?

Just in case you don't know, LX shortcuts to apps on memory sticks allow those memory stick apps to hotsync as if they were located in RAM.

Im not sure about hotsyncing as i have no apps on the stick that need it. I use it to organize files on the stick (i use Clie Launcher).

Well, what I want is that I can move some large programs to the memory stick, and create a shortcut in the handheld memory such that the latter can be recognized and categorized by the CLIE Launcher.

I've tried to use LX to create such shortcuts but they can't be recognized by CLIE Launcher or the classic launcher.

The shortcuts created by McFile seem to work, but my handheld resets every time McFile create a shortcut.

I have no idea why it would reset, i have not had that problem. You should drop a note to the developer and tell them about it.
