Here's my basic setup: NX60, WL100, a Belkin Wireless router with an Infrastructure network including laptop which I use for Hotsyncing the Clie. I was able to easily setup Web access on the Clie, but can't get the Clie to wirelessly sync with the laptop. I've followed the detailed instructions (via the link in this forum) that were provided for wireless hotsyncing, but nothing happens between the laptop and the Clie. Going thru many prior threads I see mention of people using AdHoc mode or setting up a bridge to sync to a specific computer. I must be missing something. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

If your going through a router, then use infrastructure mode. Adhoc mode is used only if your connecting card to card or WAP to WAP.
If your using a firewall or Win XP's firewall, temporarily disable it. Everything should work together in harmony, hopefully.
You did NOT specify your operating system, how you connect to the internet, or who your ISP is.
In the Clie remember to have the proper IP address and name in the primary PC setup. The name is "!!" without the quotes.
In the Clie select modem with cradle/cable. On the desktop, make sure that the Hot Sync Manager's tray Icon's setup has both local USB and network checked.
In the Clie make sure LAN sync is selected, it is wrong in the following link:
http://www.otakunozoku.com/wifihotsync/
subnet mask is 255.255.255.0
Also PowerSaveMode needs to be unchecked!!!
Let's see how you do with this, good luck :)!
BTW, getting connected to the internet is the main thing.

Thanks for the suggestions (and your previous help, I've mainly been a lurker, but have found many of your previous posts extremely helpful) -- I'm using WinXP with DSL from a small local ISP. I have already done most of what you suggest, but will make the LANsync switch. Sounds like the built-in firewall on the Belkin router is probably the problem. Not sure disabling the firewall everytime I want to hotsync is worth the trouble. Oh well --as you say accessing the 'net is the main goal. Tx again. --Jeff Krane

No, the belkin router should be okay and it's actually a misnomer, it just redirects the IP from your ISP.

Larry, thanks. Following your instructions, I am hotsyncing as I type:). Is it necessary to have your PC (or in my case, my laptop) on to do a wireless hotsync?

Just answered my own question. You have to have your PC or laptop on to do a wireless hotsync.
Thank You n2ifp!!!!
I usually just lurk around this site and get all the answers to any questions I would have posted. I have been working on trying to hotsynch the whole evening. You directions really helped.

Awesome!!!
Simply amazing -- used the link above and my NX60 sync'd with my PC via wireless the very first attempt. I also had no difficulty getting wi-fi running on the NX60 with my D-link WLAN for web browsing and email.
I've read a lot of complaints about how difficult it is to use Wi-Fi with the Clie but my experience has been darnright blissful :)
