Can you synch IN CRADLE with Covertec case?

I just got an NR70 and want to buy a case asap. Thanks to the help of a previous thread (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=49), my leaning towards the Covertec has turned into a solid intent to buy.

Just one question to any who may own/know about the case: Can you synch the NR70 in the crade while it is still in the case?

Here's a link to the case, if someone else is intersted in it. http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=SX1401. And the main reason Im not getting the "alternative" they recommend is it has no stylus slot.

No , you cannot.

I have the black covertec case and it is not possible unless you have one of those sync cables instead of a cradle.

Absobutely! Is Global Source.com  the same as Clie Source. I noticed the same aesthetics but different name. I'd really like to get the Tan-colored one but its on backorder. D'oh!

I have the black covertec leather case, very nice, it's nice even tho i can't sync, it's hard to create a case that can sync and offer good protection, i'm glad i have my case...my clie has fell a time or too, but with the case, it's fine

I ordered one from Global Source. By the way, if anyone is interested in the Gld color, since its backordered, just order the Gold colored one for the NX70 series. I checked Sony and it has the same dimensions as the NR70. So even though the Gold case for NR70 is backordered, if you order the one for NX70 is should fit. I will confirm this when I get it on Weds.

UPDATE: JUST GOT THE CASE AND I LOVE IT!! ITS BEAUITFUL TAN ("GOLD"?) COLOR. IT LOOKS SUPER VIP. AND THE STYLUS LOOP FITS MY CUSTOM LANDWARE STYLUS. ONE MINOR THING: SINCE SONY CHANGED THE LOCATION OF THE SPEAKER ON THE BACK OF THE NX, THE CUTOUT CIRCLE FOR THE CASE IS MISPLACED AND THE CASE COVERS THE PUNY SPEAKER THE NR HAS. NOT A PROB OBVIOUSLY IF YOU USE THE VERY COOL HEADPHONE/CONTROLLER. EVERYTHING ELSE FITS PERFECT.
