been intorduced to this nice piece of software just lately and i am really getting the hang of it and feels really useful... its now one of the must-have apps for Palm for me...

One problem i am having is that sometimes the Launcher goes all white on me... i mean the popup loses all content and displays only as all white... a soft reset resolves it... but its happening a lot

anyone else having problems like this?

Here are some snapshots of what I'm talkin about:

Here's what it looks like normally...

Was your menu as complicated as mine? :) beginning to think its because of that... but it shouldn't be! its a paid product it must be able to handle it :)

Are you using the p***hed version of Hi-Launcher DEMO ?
This is due to it is a cripleware, buy the full version and the problem solved.

BTW, the current version is 3.1 but I don't know if this makes a difference.

Have you tried turning on (or off if it's already on) the default color palette option:
Hi-Launcher -> Display options... -> Triggering... -> Force the default color palette (checkbox). Might help, might not.

Wow, that used to happen on my UX. I just uninstalled the application and saved the databases. Then reinstalled the application and hoped that the error would not come back. This used to happen in v2.8. Seems like they never fixed it. I always loved Hi-Launcher but on my UX, it slowed me down too much (due to the low RAM and processor as well as events taking place in hede. This error also annoyed me a lot. Hope to use this application on my TX when I get it but I hope I don't get that error.

EDIT: You won't believe this but I have screenshots of me using Hi-Launcher exactly one year and one day ago...

When my wireless actually worked :(

as well as its multitasking ability...

One thing I find interesting about me getting the TX is that when I had Hi-launcher, I had always wished there was a home button on the outside of the device. Now, I have that option.

I have this problem on my T3, and I saw it on my girlfriend's TX, which I set up for her. The problem is always fixed by a soft reset, but it happens quite a lot.

I was using v2.1 until a couple of months ago, and never had a problem, then I upgraded to v3.0 and the problem started. I removed it all after a while and went back to v2.1, and saw the white menus with v2.1, which I'd never seen before. I de-installed that and went back again to v3.0. It still happens on my T3, but less than it did. I removed v3.0 from my gf's TX, as I felt it was becoming unusable.

I love the software, which for me is by far the best way of launching apps, so I'm quite disappointed by this problem.

Yea, thats possible. There is two files along with the Hi-Launcher PRC file. A Hi-Launcher DB and Hi-Launcher SWP?? file.
