I've been reading the TH forums and notice quite a few broken LCD's. They are fairly easy to repair as LCD's for the TH are more abundant and Sony charges a flat rate to repair a Clie.

I was wondering if Sony does a flat rate to repair the VZ. Do they have anyone, anywhere that can repair a VZ? I would assume they do as they sold it. Though, my better intuitions says they don't as they only sold it in 1 country and in limited quantity. Almost as if to say we can do it but we just won't. The VZ is so advance I just started thinking about what would happen if I dropped it. Does anybody have any info? What the Sony repair website?

You don't think Sony would fix it? Why wouldn't they support a product they made. It seems as if the VZ was never made if you asked Sony. What's the deal? :(

They would fix it, but it would be expensive ;)

You might need to use your CD and go to the Japanese site. If you can read Japanese. The help desk sent me to the Japanese site, but when I put in my address, it routed me back to the US site.

You'll have to send it back in Japan, you should contact the guy who sold it to you :)
That's why I use PdaShop most of the time, in case there's a problem, I send the item back to them and they give it back to Sony for repairs.
They also tell me how much it would cost to make it repair if the warranty does not work.
