And I have to say I am impressed with how quickly they make updates and release new versions.

All the problems that I reported are fixed. The file manager looks great w/the smaller fonts. The ZZTech folks are awesome!

The Support for 64K Skin on non-color device is just like editing the Thml resource using Rsrcedit. The Speed of loading these kind of skin is slow on non-color device. The Best method to use skin on Non-Color CLIE is to Completely rebuild the skin

No kidding! The folks at ZZ are amazing. I can't think of a single thing, software or otherwise, that I have purchased for $12 and gotten this kind of developmental support on. (Except my girlfriend... KIDDING!)

The few minor flaws I had reported were fixed too!

It's almost like ZZTech can read your mind, they're amazing :)!

It's almost perfect. What else can they add?

My wishlist or things to refine:
1. The initial screen could come up faster.
2. The option to use jpgs or gifs for the background instead of bitmaps, for the sake of smaller files. (BMPs are about 300% larger than a jpg file.)

1. If you disable autorefreshing the /Palm/Launcher option, the inital screen instantly loads.
2. You can store .jpg files on the Memory Stick to use as backgrounds on devices that have native .jpg support (most modern Clie's). Only the current one in use has to be in a bitmap format, and that is because it would run really slow otherwise.

How do you disable autorefresh?

cbulock

It's in the Options/ZL Preferences dialog box. Then uncheck the option 'Auto sync /Palm/Launcher/'.

You might have to manually refresh the apps if you move files around outside of the launcher, but I don't think I have ever had to more than once or twice.
