Delivered by UPS today, one week and one day after sending it to San Diego for repair. It looks great!

On the Invoice Receipt the parts that were replaced were:

A6072074A LCD Block Assy CC3-08
180554031 MC4VH21 Camera Modu CE-08

I can't wait to load 'er up and move 'er out! After using my tg50 for the last week, I know how much I missed my big screen.

BTW-my backup th55/e should be arriving from London in a few days and I just purchased TWO th55/u's from eBay with a ton of accessories. . .will be selling those soon!

With very consistent reports on these Sony PDA overhauls, it appears they've really got their act together in this regard. ;) Congratulations "salesrep!"

Over $300 worth of new parts in it. Not bad at all!

You're now trying to corner the TH55 market or what? :)

I just couldn't help myself!

Right after my LCD cracked and I had to break it to my wife that we were going to have to pay $150 to repair it, I was looking on eBay (just what I do!) and came across a guy selling his th55/e from London. He listed it as an auction format starting at $1 or so, but also had the Buy It Now option--for $190!!! I jumped at that without even blinking--I paid $380 total to get my first one from a guy in Athens, Greece a year ago so I knew this was a fantastic deal by comparison. The 'TH55 Nutcase Club' thread planted the idea for a backup in my brain.

So after surviving this round with my wife when she found out about it, I came across another deal on eBay where a guy was selling both of his th55/u's plus MS sticks plus leather cases plus a keyboard plus a bunch of software. I would not be surprised if he was a member here on this forum because he was basically unloading his entire collection. I won his auction for $401. . .
