Zire 72 button problem

Hi,

The "down" button on my Zire 72s does not not work properly: It sometimes works, sometimes not. This started after three weeks from purchase.

Is this normal on Zires? I browsed the Zire forum but couldn't find a single post about this.

So this is such a rare problem that nobody have any idea. It seems I have a faulty device.

Quick return it if it is still under waranty. Some button like on remotes get water spilled on them and so the repair is to take it apart and dry it. If it isn't a factory blemish then moisture, spills and hard physical abuse is the other cause of malfunction.

I just had a similar problem and was able to solve it by pressing the up button and using canned air in the widended gap around the down button. seems to work.
