Pruss, I have a problem with mySkin 2.25. I installed it on my Life Drive and it worked fine. I turned on the drop statusbar feature and that works fine as well. When I try to launch MySkin after enabling drop statusbar (bar up or down), I get a reset with the following error "Fatal Exception" while running mySkin.

So how do I turn off the drop statusbar setting to stop the reset if I cannot launch mySkin because the drop statusbar setting is active and causes a reset?

I second having the same feature pop up on a long hardware press, and would also like to request a way to navigate the pop-up list using the five way navigator if it's possible. This would make the operation truly one-handed. In any case, this is great work Alexander. Keep it coming!

Launching after a warm reset might help.

Did you have the RAM icons option turned on or off?

Were you upgrading from an earlier version? If so, which one?

Where did you download from?

Could you do me a favor and see if the problem persists with myKbd, too?

A warm reset allowed me to launch mySkin and turn the statusbar drop off. Following this, everything appears back to normal.

RAM icons were turned off.

I upgraded from 2.20 to 2.25.

I downloaded from PalmGear.

I'll load myKB and give it a try.

I just tried to implement it, but failed. Either the 'hede' notification is not generated with a keyHoldEvent, or else it's intercepted before it gets to my code.

The next version of myKbd (maybe mySkin, too, but that isn't the current plan) will support assigning macros to the four hard keys, by the way. Test:

I think that works fine on mine, I go and test it (mykb) without problems, setting status bar on, mykb loads perfect.

Other than that, you don't need the "button label codes" for tapping of buttons with text labels. Just give the label as the argument in tap macro command, ie
<keycode 519 0 8>

<wait 5000>
<tap ok>

Line by line, this does the following:
presses hard button 4, which launches pToolSet
sends key 2 which invokes pInfoTool
pauses the process for 5 seconds
taps the ok button to close the pInfoTool dialog

I'm not sure how to use the KeyCode app:confused: I hotsyncd the .prc and when I tap the icon, I just get a white screen.

Anyways, I actually wanted the button code for the WiFi button in the statusbar.

I don't care what anybody says but I like the WiFiAuto Off that you made. I like to turn off the WiFi completely even if there is no apparent battery drain (or maybe I just have a mild Obsessive Compulsive disorder :o ) So I was wanting to set up a macro to automatically disconnect WiFi and exit Blazer then WFAO could work to turn off the antenna. That way I can set my power save prefs to keep the WiFi "on" for 10 mins instead of 3 min. Sometimes I want to keep the wifi connect for longer periods of time (reading threads or big webpages can take a while) so that I don't have to wait for the whole wifi connection popups process. And other times I want to just browse and exit in less than 10 mins. I miss WebProV's ability to disconnect on exit, don't know why Blazer doesn't have it too.

Anyways, long story short... I found a DA to toggle WiFi and was able to set up the macro without the button code. Now with the press of one button I exit Blazer, disconnect wifi and turn off the antenna. :)

I don't really want to offer multiple downloads, sorry. It potentially adds to my support time, and makes it harder to release things, and I need more $$IF lines in the source code for the manual.

That said, I understand the desire. I usually just install a single prc myself, but then I have it all on my harddrive. ;-)

I don't think there is another method for this right now. Make sure that you are touching in the white space below the status bar...

Make sure you're in an app that allows DIA minimization. Then touch the bottom edge (in portrait). You might find that the calibration is a bit different on the left or on the right of that bottom edge.

You may also want to use myKbd's full screen calibration.

You can do that, no? You just put a color pattern in the landscape section.
