It depends...I myself am unfamilier with Clie Mail, but if it works anything like the standard mail program than all you have to do is set up your desktop email client to receive Hotmail. In Outlook and Outlook Express you can do it easy enough.

Just as what you say, as Hotmail is a HTTP mail server, I think it won't work with CLIE Mail. But as that other member says, you could also mail out and receive the mails trou HotSync. But without HotSync, if you would like to send your mails wirelessly (by a mobile phone+bluetooth/IR) you would have to use a POP3 mail account in Clie Mail. If you would like to use Hotmail or other web-based mail account, you may just simply go to NetFront and go to that web...!!!:D

thats the issue. hotmail recoqnises netfront as a lower spec browser and refuses to display on it. have to use another browser to get to hotmail.

ScottM- The question was on hotmail, not just pop accounts. That is what ClieMail is made for

You can access Hotmail using the Webpro browser. And the bonus is that Webpro has a way smaller footprint than Netfront.

Can the TG50 run the Webpro browser? If so, where can one purchase this browser? I always thought it runs on Palm Tungstens only.

I haven't browsed on my Clie in awhile, but this is where I used to go for hotmail:
lc2.law5.hotmail.passport.com/cgi-bin/dologin?login=XXXXXXXX@hotmail.com&passwd=XXXXXXXX
Replace the X's with your proper information. Add the "http://" at the beginning of that address.
