Already posted this on Palm247, but of course we need as many users as possible to get this to work. So far there are only about 50 entries, but I think if people contribute, this has the potential to become an extremely usefull resource for anybody who wants to do emulation on Palm. Here the post on Palm247:

"Do you know what a wiki is? Sure you do! A wiki is a page where every user can add information to the page he is viewing. For example Wikipedia is a Wiki!
Do you know what compatibility tables are? Long lists of data, basically saying: Software W, version X, runs on system Y using software Z.

OK, by now you probably know what I'm up to: Combining these two, we could create a huge compatibility list for pretty much any emulator (or software for which modifications exist, such as Doom and Quake), with very little work (per user). Maintaining such a list alone is pretty much impossible for a single person, but if every body contributes just a tiny bit we'll have everything running in no time!

Why is it important? This saves users (YOU!) the time to install a game/program that we know doesn't work, making usage of emulators much easier. Also, it's a heck of a lot easier for developers of emualtors to fix bugs if they know multiple cases where this bug has an effect on emulation.

Helping/using the database isn't difficult, just go to http://palmemu.wikispaces.com/ and when you find something new, just click the edit button and add it. No registration or anything (if you don't want to. Of course you're free to register).

Some content is already in place, along with various templates and the overall structure. In other words, it's ready. If you are too frightend about breaking something (although I do a daily backup, so you can't really mess up anything), you can of course just send me the info you want to see added: hansschmucker at gmail dot com."

The discussion has now moved to Emuboards (http://www.emuboards.com/invision/index.php?showtopic=26145). Vilmos of PalmMAME seems quite fond of it :)
