I'm new at using my NX-70v and I just wanted to know if the memory stick pro will work withe my NX-70v and if I have to install any programs to be able to use it?

There is a patch available for you NX that would make the MSPRO work out of the box, otherwise you have to format it as fat16 - search the forums..there are a lot of threads about it.

Yes you can the ms pro with the nx now along as you have the "CLIÉ Handheld System Patch" update from back in Jan, but you can't use the audioplayer, movieplayer or voice recorder with out reformatting the stick to fat or getting the ms pro update due out sometime this month. The Japanese update came out last week.

Yea Larry, I guess things were moving too slow around CS for me today so indeed I've resorted to not only answering my own questions. And some say I'm doing it around the house today too, :)
Oh... and yes, I'm the reason why members of my household sleep in shifts!
Everything is fine on my NX with the patches and the new mspro
