Waiting for my NX70V!!!!!!!

Hi!! I am waiting for delivery of my new Clie NX70V, and I'd like
to know of which freeware, shareware and other paid programs are
must-haves for it and/or OS 5. I am stepping up from a SJ30, and am
concerned about compatibility.

Also, I wanna know the BEST and SAFEST way to sync all my info from
the SJ 30 to the NX, taking into consideration the different OS in
each unit, and noting that I use BackupBuddy.

Yeah, mine ought to be here in less than a week. I looked at one at a friend's house and I was hooked, so I ordered one yesterday.

As you probably know, bejeweled is a must have ggeame. It is addicting. go to PalmGear.com. Lots of trial versions of software. try it out before you buy it. just browse the site and you're sure to find something you like. The programs will tell you if they are OS5 compatible. Palm OS5. This poses a problem. some apps will not work on OS5. There are lots of programs on palmpilotware.com. I don't know if they will work or not though with OS5. I haven't tried any of their programs with my NX. you can try though.

whats sad is i dont even have it yet and ive had the drop dreams!
knowing i got mine under 300 feels even better!
just think one day ill be looking back on here saying dam that coulda been spent on the ......?????????Id say nz but just wait!lol

I live in Puerto Rico, and got mine form eBay. I had to pay via BidPay, so I hope I can receive it this week! Cant' wait for it!! I went to a music show at the local Hard Rock Cafe a few weeks ago (Iron Maiden tribute band-GREAT!!!!!!!!!!), and a girl had an NX70V!!!!!!! Recording and taking pics like crazy!!! That's when I decided to get one. BUT, in Puerto Rico they are still WAY expensive. So that's why I decided on eBay (hoping I don't get ripped off!!!!!!!)

How about skins for the Grafitti area??? I read about it in Handheld Computing, and sounded way cool.

wow, congradulation to a new owner of the NX! :D
I can still remember the very 1st moment I got it, I have the so called limited gunmetal grey color. It was during mid of OCT2002! Had a friend order it from Japan for me, then a collegue to bring it back from Japan and I drove to pick my friend up the very same day when he arrived at the airport! :D I was desperate...

Hey, just to let you guys and girls know... talked to the eBay seller... he was gonna send the NX70V yesterday... 2-3 days USPS Priority service... but Monday is a HOLIDAY in OPuerto Rico, so no postal service... which sucks big time.

In the meantime I have been reading about programs and hacks, and downloading stuff for my new Clie... I AM KINDA DESPERATE TO HAVE IT ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!

Ok fellow Clie freaks, the wait is OVER... somewhat... just received today (Saturday AM in Puerto Rico) my NX70V... still reading all books to make sure I don't screw up... LOL! AND WAITING FOR IT TO CHARGE IS TORTURE!!!!!! I will go do a few errands and come back to play with it....

So, share MY joy, I surely know now what you all felt upon receiving yours!!
