Just wondering if you guys could record, say, a TV show and watch it later. How much memory would a 30 minute show take up, assuming you used lowest quality (but still acceptable to watch)?

I think I heard about a college kid recording hour-long lectures @120MB each. Didn't he get busted for selling them?!

If you were going to record a show you wouldn't do it with your Clie I hope. Use your capture card and then use the image converter. To calculate how big a file will be.
(Videobitrate + Audtiobitrate) * #seconds = Total size in bits. You can easily fit a 30min show on a 128mb stick especially if you use the included image converter.
As for audio in the LP mode you can fit easy 5 hours on a 128mb stick. Right now I have about 78mb free on my 128mb stick and I have 303:27 remaining for audio in LP mode 111:40 in SP mode
An hour long lecture would not = 120mb LP mode on a clie it would be about 14mb. That's 240kb/min which is 4kb/sec You could sell a whole days lectures :). Have them all posted to the web by noon. Heheh
For video 1 hour 14min:50sec left at video 96kbps 43 min at 192kbps
