Hi,

I've just acquired my first NX, and I love it so far! I'm quite familiar with Palm and PalmOS, having previously owned a SJ20 and a Tungsten E. However, this problem vexes me.

The NX is playing nice with my iMac Core Duo, and Palm Desktop for Mac works perfectly with it. However, I have an external keyboard (PEGKB11) that came with the package, and I'd like to use it. The updated drivers weren't installed on the NX80V, but Sony has the update in a .exe which won't work on a Mac. So, I launch a hostile takeover of my brother's Dell (ugh!).

No luck. Windows refuses to play nice with the NX, and refuses to let it hotsync, install the drivers or palm desktop off the CD. An online download from the PalmOne website installs, but can't hotsync either.

I'm flummoxed. I even tried a hard reset. Now, I'm off to try a driver the seller sent to me.

Anyhow, any help?

If the keyboard drivers download to the PC, and you have a card reader and a memory card, transfer the files to the card and move the files from there to your handheld with a file management utility.
