Any reset issues with switching back to default theme?

menu disappears quickly in this version?
anyone else?

Me too. I already e-mailed Andrew about this and included a couple of screenshots. It's especially quirky with a Billiards game I have - I tap on the menu, it disappears, then the item I select from the menu list doesn't do what it's supposed to. :( I guess it's back to version 0.942b for now.

Any reset issues with switching back to default theme?Hard to say. The new "disappearing menu" bug is a show stopper though. Back to .942b! ;)

Huh, I am not experiencing that problem on my TX.
Maybe Andrew tested this version on a TX, but I don't think he has a T2, so that's why he counts on us to let him know if he has to fix something. :) You just got lucky. ;)
There seems to be a lot of bugs with .943. I'm seeing checkboxes etc appearing through the menu.
Unfortunately I didn't archive .942b. Ana where to get it?
Thanks!

I actually wound up going back to .941b for now as it does all I need and hopefully I will not be plagued with the reset issues of .942b. I do wish Andrew were a little less busy with other things and would devote some time, as DBH said, to working with us through the 1src interface, where we can provide great feedback across a variety of devices.
So, any idea where to get .941b then?

After .942b caused some problems for me on my TX, I went back to .941b and have been using it with no problems whatsoever since. I think I'll wait on this upgrade as well. I sent a bug report to Andrew back when .942b came out. SkinUI seems to have less bugs - if Dmitry ever comes out and decides to sell it I may buy it as well.
I can't believe this build hasn't been pulled yet, it makes many apps nearly unusable :(
OK, thanks to Resco Backup I'm back @ .942. I really think Andrew needs to keep an archive of at least the last build available when releasing beta builds. Of course, the same can be said for me.

I have uploaded a stable version of PalmRevolt (http://www.1src.com/) (deleted link and file as the later version renders this one no longer necessary) for your viewing and using pleasure. Since this is "trialware," you will need to purchase the unlock code from 3GX Software (http://store6.esellerate.net/store/catalog.aspx?s=STR8202540505&pc=) for continued use. ;)

Thanks Wellsjs...I wasn't sure what was going on with my menus. If anyone talks to him and finds out about a new fix, let us know.

Andrew just emailed me a debug version and .944b is posted at link in post #1. A quick test run looks like the menu bugs are fixed. Too early to tell about resets. Recommend everyone install this new version and let's STRESS TEST it. :)
Comment on any bugs in .944b here! (http://www.1src.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107494)
Yep, I just got an e-mail from Andrew as well. I'm gonna install the new version and take it for a ride! :D
Seems ok to me at first glance. What I'm wondering is how do you enable the transparencies in a skin, and how much of a CPU hit it costs you.
It depends on the skin author. The transparency is built right into the skin.
I use HPSkinStudio to alter themes to my liking, is there a way using that to get the transparency? Do you build it into the image files themselves? Can you even make semi-opaque BMP files?
Yes, you could set the transparency right into the bitmaps. I'm not sure about semi-opaque.
Ah, it seems I misunderstood the feature. I though it was to allow translucent menus ala OS X. That really isn't very useful anyway. So this is more along the lines of a bug fix then.
