Hi,
I've the last version of eReader Pro but, unlike PalmReader (previous version) it doens't start at 320x480 resolution. Is it a bug? I can't find an option to do it.
In PalmReader I just closed at that res and it would start at that res.

Are you using Landscape? If so, in application details check only "Allow Sony API." You can do your screen rotation using either Landscape or eReader. I let Landscape manage it so under "Orientation:" I use "Reverse Landscape." With these settings, eReader opens full screen every time perfectly.

wellsjs, I just don't recall if it's Landscape, but it's the rotation program when you click in the clock. I have no prefs menu though...

As I said, in Landscape (Rotation) turn off the "Palm API" and it should fix your issue.

But where do I get the menu from? The file just goes in RAM and takes effect without menus... unless I'm using one of the first versions and the menu came after... maybe that's it. I'm sure I'm not using one of the last 2 versions.

Well, go get the latest version! Then launch "Prefs." In upper right of window you should see (most likely) "Date & Time." Tap the drop down menu and tap "Rotation." The latest version allows you to select and configure individual applications. Put a check mark in eReader. Tap "Details," and make sure only "Allow Sony API" is checked.
You need to remove the older Landscape version and install Rotation version 1.2.3.
eReader v.2.6.1 works fine with Rotation and always display 320x480 in my TH55.

I hope you got your problem sorted. Sorry to take this a bit off-topic but I've been using the previous version of eReader Pro for about 18 months now and I did notice that there is a new version but I couldn't find any description of what is new with the new version. Could someone please give a brief summary of what is improved in the new version or point me towards somewhere that describes this.

I just reviewed the support pages at ereader.com. There is no versioning information available. Why not email ereader support and ask them? The worst that can happen is they refuse to respond or state that this is proprietary information.
My guess is that this version has some enhancements related to NVFS or the TX toolbar.

The latest version is actually 2.6.2, and is included for free with a Palm TX on the software CD. Not sure why it isn't available on the eReader website yet.

Thanks Dennis for posting the change log, that was really helpful. I wish they'd put it on the web site, it seems crazy that, without the help of this forum, one needs to download the latest version to decide whether one wants to bother downloading the latest version!
Overall I'm not surprised but am slightly dissapointed. After over a year I was definitely hoping for more new features, especially in the bookshelf screens. I will probably upgrade though because there is one (and only one) significant enhancement that I'd like which is the 320x480 mode for the bookshelf and dictionary screens.
