Moose is a FREE text-to-speech app for the palm based on flite. This project seems dead since it hasn't been updated since 2004, but is a very good app. I was wondering (since I am not a developer) if someone could request permission from the author of this project to continue it.

I emailed the author once, long ago, and heard nothing.

Permission is not needed given the licenses embedded in the code, I think. But source code is. :-)
