Hi,
I recently had to scheduled a repeating action in Agendus over 40 years and I was a little surprised to see that the calendar couldn't go past the year 2031. Is this a known issue/limitation of the palm system or is it Agendus? I wanted to schedule the end date in 2041.
Anyway I scheduled "no end date".
Any comments?

The Palm database (which Agendus, DateBk, etc. use) does not support dates past 2031. It's a known limitation of the operating system (and not something iambic can change).

Well I'm glad it goes to 2031 as I've been able to create a reminder to stay inside Oct. 26, 28. (http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0LaSvDWighEMfYAYjZXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTB2bTU4Zm85BGNvbG8DdwRsA1dTMQRwb3MDOARzZWMDc3IEdnRpZAM-/SIG=126r6ndj0/EXP=1141496918/**http%3a//impact.arc.nasa.gov/news_detail.cfm%3fID=60)

You don't want to go outside and watch as it passes by? Could be like the movie Armaggedon where they show the bomb going off in a sunlight sky and you can see the explosion while the meteor is still 100,000 miles from earth.
Regardless, thanks for the reminder - I'll put a note into my Treo to either watch or stay inside. :D
Does this mean the end of the world will be in 2031? :P

I'm not worried about 2031, but May 4, 2102 (http://impact.arc.nasa.gov/news_detail.cfm?ID=167) looks (slightly) more threatening. It rates a 2 on the Torino scale!
Admittedly, 2 isn't anyhting to write home about...

Thats way over my head !

I do believe you took me a bit too seriously :p Anyway, I'm Hindu. Don't really have the same conception of 'end' as Christians. Like the Energizer Bunny, we just keep going and going... Not that there is anything wrong with everything ending in an apocyliptic fireball. It just isn't my thing.
The Mayan calandar runs out in 2012 or something, but maybe Palm programmers know more than those ancient Mayans :D

:D
Only since the thread got off topic-
Well, I don't think ending in an apocalyptic fireball is a necessarily a Christian desire either. I can't speak for Wellsjs but from my perspective it's not high on the desired list for tomorrow unless it is God's will.
But it would be fun to watch......as long as I can take pictures. :D
No disrespect to any religious beliefs. :)

I don't expect to be here in 2028, 2031 or 2102, but I were here, a fireball ending it all doesn't seem like much fun.....

Yeah, I never assumed it was, but it is part of the story of the Bible. No disrespect meant by me either. I like Jesus. ;)

I think you should be able to make 2028 or 2031 - I'm planning on it and I'm not certain why you wouldn't.
Now 2102 would be pushing it. :p ;)

None was taken. ;) Don't know enough about Hinduism to make any similar comments other than to say that I'm glad you believe in something that seems to be a positive religion.

I think maybe things are going off-topic ;-)
I'm sure the world is not under Palm's hardware rules...

I could travel forward in time in my tardis, check when the world ends and inform the Palm programmers. It would be interesting to find out if Linux for Palm gets released before the end.

Just an add-on: last friday I sent an email with a return receipt:
Sent on: Fri, 3 Mar at 17:46:23 GMT +0100
I got the reading receipt saying:
Your message has been displayed at the destinary computer on
Fri, 3 Mar at 17:45:46 GMT +0100
And this was between two cities 300Km apart. That's what I call fast service. It was read just before I sent it!
