NR 70 and Palm IIIxe on the same PC

Is it possible to have both the nr 70 and the Palm IIIxe softwares co-exist on the same PC?? I believe I've read that this is not possible, but hasn't someone come up with a workaround by now?? I want to be sure before I try it.

I am also having this problem. Every time I want to add software to my old Palm IIIxe I need to rename the user profile and then add the software. However when I do this on a Mac I have no problems. Too bad that I need a PC for some Clie software.

So are you saying that I can successfully have both the clie and the palm softwares on the same pc as long as I have different owner names?

That should be possible.

That should be possible, but the last time I tried it I still had problems. Maybe it will worl for you. Hopefully someone else can suggest a better workaround.

I would think you could just have two seperate folders [with unique Palm Desktop installations] and rename them more easily than futzing with the user name on the unit.

I don't mind having differnt owner names, because I actually do. My wife uses the palm and I use the nr 70. I wasn't sure if both software would cause problems with each other (ie. .dll files & such). I'll have to give it a shot now and see what happens. Thanks again, y'all!
