I'm sure this application is out there, and I'm just not using the right keywords to search for it.
I want to jot down the date that certain things occur on, and be able to review the average frequency at which they happen or when the last time was (for example, razor blade replacements, or car oil changes).
Does anyone have an idea?

Why not use a spreadsheet? If you have Documents to go ...

I suppose that would work. Not as nifty...

How about an app like Track - http://www.medcosm.com/pda_track.htm. It a logging program that also produces graphs so you can spot trends and problems.

That might very well do it; I see there are some other (Track2) apps as well. I'll give them a shot.

I suggest investing in a database program. With it, you can write small databases to keep track of bits of information, just like what you are looking at. There are simple databases that are free, like Pilot-DB and there are more complex relational databases such as MobiSystems Database, HanDBase and SmartListToGo. In the end, a person will save RAM and money.

The original Track doesn't like the T|X, or the current OS, or something like that. It took me a bit to get the new versions in (the included version of Superwaba didn't like my database either). Not sure if those will do it either, since they expect two dimensions of data (quantity on a date), where I just have one dimension (date). Still considering the spreadsheet, if that doesn't do it, I'll try Pilot-DB.
