Ok, I might want to sell my UX... (don't worry! I am going to do it to get a new one :D (maybe))
Anyway...
No MS slot, needs new battery, no USB, no speaker, no usb cover, missing some screws, the top where it says Clie Personal Entertainment Organizer is slightly, very slightly warn off, and the up/down on the jog dial don't work....
$175-$200? PLEASE??? :D

I hope your not offended, but I am looking at tops 1/2 of your price on eBay :)

What did you did to the poor UX? Too much love can kill ;)

If the motherboard was perfect, I'd take it for no more than $50. That's just the price that I can afford right now.

I would say you'll be lucky to get $150. Units in decent shape are currently selling for $220-$300 on eBay.

I had one listed that sold for $198 (lots of wear, unit only) and the buyer didn't pay. I relisted it. I'll be listing another good condition unit in a week or so.

I'm just sorry you're having so many problems. With all the problems you and JA have had, you should start an Ex-UX support group.

Don't feel too bad. You're not alone. I dropped my 2 month old Axim X51v and broke the digitizer glass. I replaced it last week. Fortunately the part only cost $50 and the change was fairly easy. The X51v comes apart very easy. It is much easier to work on than the UX50.

Yea, but if I start a Ex-UX group, I may just name it a Ex-Palm OS group since nothing can surpass the UX when it comes to devices running Palm OS. I really want to get a Windows Mobile device but I don't have money lying around for one. I may never even get a new motherboard since I don't have enough money for it. This is very sad for me. Wish I had choosen another person on ebay to get my UX from. Why I have to choose the person that had a UX (that had issues) I didn't know that the device had issues and the issues started coming much later after the purchase.

JA, did you do any mods prior to when the WiFi stopped working? Any at all?

As some of you know, I just purchased a NIB UX50 less than a month ago from a doctor in N.Y. While I find it great for most things, it really has MORE than I need, and the lack of non-standard buttons means no great games (IMHO). I went out and bought a TX, but the bad BT stack makes it impossible to surf the net easily, so back it's going. I hear the T5 has a BT stack more similar to the UX50, and if so, I will be selling my one-month old UX50 + extra battery + charging case on eBay. I paid $325 for the unit alone, but I would offer it at a nice discount to one of you guys here on the board that needs it. Also, flexible payment schedules might be possible for someone reliable. Let me know if anyone is interested.....

I'd get it if I had the money. Right now, I only have enough for a perfect UX base with a broken screen or something. Basically a USED UX with perfect motherboard. If you are willing to give me a discount of $275 off the price above. That would be very kind of you. I really only have $50 to spend on UX parts.
