Are there any apps to give one a choice of which alarm sound to choose? I used Clie Sounds on my old NX80v but I can't seem to find an app that is supposed to work with the TX. Any suggestions? Thanks

I think emerald sound will give you more alarm sounds. google for it.
I think a program called kool alarms will let mp3's be alarms. There are other programs that do that also. Check out palmgear and other palm software sites

I use WatchM to organise my alarms, and it lets you set a different sound for each alarm set. If you want to make your own alarm sounds, I recommend Melody Editor (or using KoolSounds and prerecorded MP3s).
