Has anyone purchased and tried this application:
http://www.pantone.com/products/products.asp?idArea=3&idSubArea=0&idProduct=198&bShowQuantity=1

I'm a graphic designer and this would be a great resource to have. However, if the colors aren't accurate, as I'm doubting, then it really isn't much use. Plus, no demo available to check the colors.

Wow. I've actually been waiting for something like this. I know that the colors aren't going to be totally accurate, but having the cross reference for RGB CYMK and HTML will be fantastic. For $7.50, I think it'll be worth it (especially with my NX60, which will get me pretty darn close, visually)

Ok, well it works great on my N760, but it CRASHES my NX60. Boy does that stink. Obviously not OS5 ready yet. I'll email them.

The website says:

Note: PANTONE Colors is currently
not compatible with Palm OS 5.
We look forward to supporting the
latest version in the near future.

Oh well. I guess that image on their site is an NR series. I've been ignorant thinking it was an NX.

L-3, did you like it and use it on your N760?

Contempt: I saw it as an NX too....My bad I guess...
Looks good on the 760, but my display is OLD and has some dim spots. (Hence, why I bought a NX60).
I compared it with some Pantone chips I have. The obvious difference is that paint is additive and light is subtractive, so while you get the idea of what the color is and can match it reasonably close, it's going to be more difficult to color-match printed materials using a lighted LCD display. However, holding it up to my screen on my laptop the colors match VERY closely and it'll prove a useful tool for on-screen art.
My main purpose is going to use it to match Pantone numbers to RGB, CYMK and HTML colors, so for that, it's a great tool.
Hope this helps.

Yeah, I wanted to use it for matching numbers as well. Keep us posted if they respond to your request for an OS5 timetable.

Is this the only product of it's kind? Isn't there something similar out there?

I had it on my T615, colors were never accurate but it gave me a great starting point without having to flip through the formula guide.
