Do you own an Treo 650, and experience frequent resets or errors because your programs cant get enough cache memory? UnCache fixes this problem by keeping apps from loading into cache at reset if they dont need to. It will give you a defragmented cache, faster boot times for some, and used in conjunction with UDMH it will give you alot more memory. If you have had problems with large programs like EDGE, or you can't get LJP (a popular emulator) running even with UDMH, get UnCache!

There is a trial version available on PalmPowerups (http://www.palmpowerups.com), so you can see the difference for yourself. The program is $5.95 on PalmPowerups, payable through PayPal (you dont need a PayPal account to buy it, you can pay through PayPal without an account).

I agree, this is a good program. I use it (and not anything else but OnGuard and Uninstall Manager) and have had some god results. Though I do admit, I only tried it when trying to download something from online and it wouldnt take it. Really, I didnt need it. But it works, and works well, so I dont mind paying for the performance uptick.

Well I bought the product and it seems to do what it says, but I am dissapointed in the support. I paid for it five minutes after downloading it, wanting to support independent software development, but I was led to believe it played well with Sharkcache, which is an indespensable app for me. It does not, or does not seem to. When I ad SC to my list of programs and restart, it starts caching and then restarts after a few seconds. on the reboot, it shows the sharkcaching screen for a micro second and then finishes booting. I contacted Dmitry here and on his site about it, but have recieved no solution.

I have a reproducible problem which only happens when uncache is installed. When I receive a Picture Mail (on a Sprint Treo 650) I am unable to open it. I click on "Go to URL" and it does nothing. I press the url with the 5 way or by tapping the touchsceen and it still doesn't work. Everything works fine after I uninstall uncache. It still doesn't work if I just disable it and reset, I have to completely uninstall it. Everything else works fine while in the Messaging application (i.e. dialing a number), except for launching URLs. Thanks for any help.

I did add blazer to the list, and I continue to have the same problem. Anything else I can try?
