I don't know whether if this goes to games or NX clie forums cause its a question related to nx, so move this thread if its wrong place. ok my question is simple, did anyone get zdoomz or zquake working on the clie nx73? i tried but i couldn't, i just get a black screen with the words cannot_ sys_alloc 4456447 Bytes. and has this oval white spot on the middle. using 128mb memory card.
I got ZdoomZ and ZQuake to work on my NX-70v.
Make sure that you get UDMH, and make sure that you have enough free space in your RAM (I'm guessing you will need around 5mb because of your error message).

Make sure you take the latest ZDoomZ from my site. It takes much less memory and therefore might run without UDMH, depending on your system. The only drawback is, that music might not work.

yes i read ur post and stuff on forums and stuff, and i did use the 1.6 but its still doesnt seem to work, but btw is RAM the system memory or is ROM the system memory, cause I only have 4 mb of system memory and 11 mb of program memory. i free up the program memory to up to 7.7mb so yea. maybe its the WAD file, i did use the doom1 wad file for IWAD box and a map for PWAD. my friend gave those WAD files to me, maybe can someone test it for me, unless its agaisnt the rules of course...thanks for replys

You better start testing it with just the doom1.wad and the latest ZDoomZ. Then you will need around 2 MB storage ram and something like 3 or 4 MB dynamic ram. You might get several "Can't allocate" errors but just press a key or tap the screen and you will end up with the game running.
