Is there any way possible to access the internet while it is sitting in the cradle? I am just wondering. One thing is before I even think about getting a Wifi card, I want to know if any websites work on my screen.

from my understand, is it not possible (at least not yet). I think it is more complicate than the old style serial palm cradle.

From www.softick.com
Softick PPP is a Microsoft Windows driver that allows to establish PPP session between Palm powered devices and Microsoft Windows desktop computer. Softick PPP was designed to establish PPP sessions over USB connections.
By using Softick PPP Palm OS devices could access local network or Internet from USB cradle or cable. And you can browse the Web, receive and send e-mail, access ftp servers, read news, use network HotSync(tm) or just use TCP/IP connection for your own applications.
Requires: Palm Computing compatible Palm OS handheld with USB connection, Microsoft Windows 2000/XP, Palm Desktop 4.1 or better.
Currently Softick PPP in the BETA stage.
This means it isn't completely bug free and not all functionality was properly tested. I've used it once or twice, but just to see if it was possible to connect over USB. I was able to connect to and ping my PC using my NZ90. I never tried internet access.

I am trying to download web pages to my NX70V through the cradle for offline viewing later, Avnantgo works well for most but the specific pages I need (RealMoney.com) are password protected via a cookie on my desktop Win 98 computer. I have read that some have had success with SoftickPPP but it will not work with Win 98 and I am unable to leave Win 98 behind, any ideas? Thanks.

I tried Softick PPP. I got it working for a week but now, I can't get it to work anymore. Maybe I am not trying hard enough ;) . You guys probably follow the setup instructions from their site on the windows settings. Meanwhile, I messed with the prefences, network settings on my PDA. I had to match the DNS settings my computer was connected to and specify a specific ip for my PDA. And also the user name and password has to match on the computer and PDA. I tried different combinations to have it working. Now, it doesn't work, still wondering why. My guess is the softick PPP drivers has expired on my computer. Could be wrong.
