I have a NZ and a guiy at work has a HP iPAQ 5455. I want to get a Bluetooth connection with with his PPC so I can Bluetooth beam files back and forth. My NZ con recongize his Pocket pc and his Pocket PC can recongize my NZ, but I still can BEAM. It asks for some passcode or password we enter in the password and still nothing happends... Espicaly when i exit the Bluetooth setup ... it takes his pocket pc out of the trusted devices window.

I don't get it> I am thinking you can connect to a Pocket PC with out special software or it is just impossible.

Anyone have any ideas??

yes you can, t is called "binding" i think.
you have to bind the two devices as truested devices.

i suggest to select a PSWD and enter the same on the other unit!

It's called Pairing.

Whichever device is initiating the connection, the other device has to be discoverable.

I really don't believe that the two devices have to be Paired.
Just initiate a "Send" from the top menu of the launcher screen... And set the other device to receive or discoverable.

Try receiving with the NZ90. Maybe it's the inferior other product.

Enter the passcode of the device that's initiating the connection on the device that's receiving the connect request to get them to talk. As what other posters mentioned, you need to pair the devices and make sure that it goes to your trusted devices list.

The 5455 comes with Peace Maker Pro (a demo although), so you should be able exchange files. After all, that is the whole point of the app.

I hope you get a connection!:)

I will give that a try,
I have a better understanding of what is happening now.

When the Guy at work connected his Ipaq to my Palm he was able to see the file I have on my PALM. I tried to connect to his IPAQ and I still was only about to just connect. I was not able to do anything further.

Is there some program that will allow me to browse the files on his IPAQ.
I suspect it works like a FTP sever but using a bluetooth connect. On PDA to Another.

I will also agree MY NZ90 kicks his IPAQ ( Companq/MSN Companion, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3018342127&category=294 ) in the A$$
