Hello all,

Could someone who has used Messagease with Myskin tell if it is better than using Messagease alone ? Does it suppress the jitters which make mistypes (for me, lines which go upward to the right) ? I used Myskin before with other keyboards, but the keyboards keys did not "click", do the keys click with Messagease and Myskin ? Are there other advantages in using Myskin together with Messagease ?

Thanks for your answers

Thierry

myKbd with Atomik (an alternative entry system developed by Alex Pruss, developer of mySkin) does suppress the jitters on the TX.

bh77a,

Not sure what you mean by myKbd w/Atomik fixes the jitters, does that mean that you have to have certain prefs set for the myKbd/Atomik fixes jitters, or just its existence/installation of these work to alleviate the TX jitters,

BTW, even if I may sound a bit naive, what are the TX jitters?

TIA,

Eli

In order to see the jitters on the TX, tap continously in the middle of the grafiti letters area, in any application. If you look at your stylus when typing, about every 10 types it draws a line instead of a dot. In a little poll I launched in palmattitude (http://forum.palmattitude.org/index.php?showtopic=31303&hl=sondage) (in French)‚ we had 6 TX over 17 suffering this. Sometimes it triggers the command bar, and in Messagease it makes a mistype.
