I would like to know if I can use Linksys Wireless Lan Card(compactflash card type 1) to my CLIE NX70V instead of using the one from SONY.

You must use the Sony wifi card... but if you search here you should find links to some very low priced Sony cards...

I think after the CF driver is out, you may try any WIFI card that are available on market.

Why? Ayasin in his answers specified earlier that CF driver will support memory cards ONLY.

That's correct!

It's not an all purpose driver. Each device will need it's own. The driver is a set of instructions for a particular device. Look at how many different drivers are used on a desktop PC.

What about an answer to another question to the WL100 wireless card? Can I find drivers that work with it for the Pocket PC? I'd hate to have to get another wireless card when I get my Dell Axim.

There are already PPC drivers out for the WL100 wireless card, so you should be able to use the WL100 card with both your clie nx and your Dell Axim.

I have a 400mhz Dell Axim X5 that I have been using along with a linksys wcf12 wifi card works very well. I recently purchased a Clie NX70V, as soon as I receive the Wl100 card I intend to try to get it to work on both systems. If it works I will be selling the linksys card

To bad the Wcf12 didn't work with the Clie I've been very happy with its performance, My Router w 4-port switch is also a linksys and works very well.

No but you can use your Wl100 card with your PPC or laptop with the appropriate driver.

Yes, you can use the Intel Pro Wireless card driver, I have not done this myself though.
