 So after my latest tg50 charged all night (like usual,) I picked it up and put it on a cradle to launch the MS Transfer to upload a few new pictures. When I tapped the program, it reset. . .hmm, it's happened before, but this time I could not revive it.
Power button did nothing, as all other hard keys. Only pushing the reset pin in the back did I get the backlit 'Palm' screen, then no backlight to finish the sequence. When the Prefs screen appeared, there was only a brief delay before it gave a message that because of low power that such and such would not be functional. If I hit the Back key quickly it will let me back out of the error message and to the Clie Launcher screen right before it goes dead again--whether plugged in or not.
So I'm clueless as to what happened. The only thought is that maybe because of the dry wintery air and static electricity on the aluminum body maybe something happened? Anybody get through this?
I even did a hard reset and that only comes up briefly--screen won't let me tap the digitizer to get past that part.
HELP. . .!
