Hi David. Congrats on your new Treo.

I moved your post to Off Topic because 1src only covers Palm-powered devices in the main forum areas. I hope you don't mind.:)

Yea, I got it last week. The Treo 700 is great. It takes a little getting used to the navigation and buttons. But it's much better than the Blackberry! Very cool- like you said "an all in one".

I switched over to the Treo 700 a couple of months ago. I was a long time user of the Blackberry but decided I would like to try out Verizon's network. The Treo is indeed faster and does a lot more. There is certainly no going back. I especially like that the new Treo runs on Windows.

Welcome to 1src, Tom. As long as a particular device works for you then that's cool! :)

The 700w runs on Windows Mobile and has a 240x240 display. The 700p, which is supposedly coming out, runs on Palm's OS and will have a 320x320 display.

I'm waiting for the 700p, even though it won't be a huge update over the 650. If anything it will make the 650 more affordable. :) I own one PDA that runs on MS's last abomination of a mobile OS, so the thought of using a 700w makes me cringe.

Here's an article comparing a 650 to a 700w. It would apply to the 700p, if it were availble;
