I am a writer for PDAGeek and a reviewer for Pocket PC Life and own both Palm and Pocket PC devices. I just got the NX late last week and didn't want to stomach the $170 (tax and shipping from Sony) for the WiFi card. Every other site was sold out and I couldn't wait for them to get in stock. Anyway, I then saw that the Sony WiFi card was also known as the IntelPro Wireless 2011B LAN CF card. I bought the card from Sony so I could return it if things didn't work out. Well, I downloaded the latest driver from the Intel site and voila! I can use this awesome card on both my NX70V and my Jornada 568 and Dell Axim X5. This is awesome since I was using a huge PC WiFi card with the monster Jornada sled and it's now on ebay.

I have found the range to be quite good so far in my trilevel home and am able to surf, check email, hotsync (and ActiveSync) from both devices. This is worth the dough since I can use the card in most any device. I suppose you could also use it with a PC card adapter in a laptop, but haven't brought my work laptop home yet to try it out. Maybe I'll do that this weekend.

It should work with the PC too, if you download the Intel driver.
