I just got the Clie PEGA-WL100 wireless lan card for my NX60u, and my install cd is screwed, I need to install the drivers/utilities, is there anywhere I can get these? Sonys tech wasnt any help, so I thought Id see if anyone knows where I can get it, download it, or if a helping hand can e-mail it to me? Thanks guys,
Bryan

Try http://www.sonyclie.org/ for the drivers

Thanks for the info, I checked it out, it had a driver for the card, and a link to another site that may have it, (im waiting on a password so I can check) But I need to install everything from the original CD that came with the card, theres no browser or any wireless card apps on my NX60 and Im guessing all of it is on the CD that came with the PEGA WL100 card, so I need to get all of it on there, appreciate any help I can get, thanks guys...

You need to get mobile manager from sony support site and then get netfront from the CD that came with the NX60. Let me know if you can't find these, and I'll send you links and or the files.

Ken,
Thanks for the reply, I found NetFront 3.0 on the Sony Support site, but I cant find the mobile manager, Im on a Mac G4, and the Mobile Connection Wizard on the Sony site downloaded as an .exe. If theres any way to send it to me that would be awesome! Thanks again

i don't know if that would help. Your MAC may not be able to run it. It's just a configuration utlity for the PC. You can configure the connection manually on the PDA though.

Well, I went to SonyClie.org and got on there FTP site, downloaded the NX60 .iso image, and the WL100 .iso, I chose not to burn them, but instead opened them u and took out the files, no point in burning since most were .exe programs anyway. So, once I thought I had it, I went to Prefs, then Network, chose Wireless LAN, then clicked connect, I couldnt connect, since the wireless network right here is down, but my MAC Address is now displayed. I also have NetFront now. Does this mean Im up and running?

don't know for sure. I thought I was about to get it a few times, but as you said, your wireless is down. Might want to go to a starbucks or other hotspot. Most of those use ANY for a network and the id/password is useually published.
the proof is in the pudding... and the ifi proof is getting webpages to load, email to come in, etc.
For home use, I love having SMBmate. I can d/l stuff from anywhere in my house. comes in handy if I'm sitting on the couch and want to look at a doc or pic that's on my PC.
